Riding the MTA

I currently work as an archivist at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University. I process Modern European collections with a focus on historical and postwar avant-garde, experimental poetry, counterculture movements, and social thought in Europe.

I am committed to advancing frameworks and practices that support equity and inclusion within archival collections and the workplace. In my day-to-day work, I am especially interested in improving archival descriptive practices to be more ethical and inclusive and in promoting equitable access to archival material. In 2018, I collaborated on a pilot project at NYU Libraries that implemented new workflows for the management of the Indigenous Media Collection, including community input for description and post-custodial stewardship.

Before a career in archives, I worked in creative and editorial roles within the art and philanthropy sectors. I have expertise in print design, photo editing, exhibition development, and project management.

I hold an MLS from Queens College-CUNY, an MFA in Fine Arts from the School of Visual Art, New York, and an MA in Sociology from Université Paris Nanterre.
